Di notte, quando il mondo rallenta e il silenzio si posa leggero sulle case, lui si sveglia.

Nessuno sa esattamente da dove venga.

Forse da un sogno dimenticato,

o da un desiderio sussurrato piano.

Con il suo piccolo canestrino tra le zampe, esce senza fare rumore e si siede ad aspettare.

Guarda il cielo, con gli occhi pieni di luce.

Aspetta.

Osserva.

Sogna.

Poi, all’improvviso—

una stella cade.

Lui scatta, veloce ma gentile, e la raccoglie al volo, come fosse la cosa più preziosa del mondo.

E lo è.

Una dopo l’altra, le stelle riempiono il suo cestino.

Le sistema con cura, perché sa che ognuna custodisce qualcosa di speciale:

un desiderio, una speranza, un piccolo sogno che qualcuno ha lasciato andare nel cielo.

Quando il canestrino è pieno, torna nel suo rifugio segreto.

Lì conserva le stelle al sicuro, in attesa del momento giusto.

Perché lui non le tiene per sé.

Aspetta qualcuno.

Qualcuno che ne abbia davvero bisogno.

E quando lo trova—

una mano esitante, uno sguardo un po’ triste, un cuore che cerca qualcosa—

si avvicina piano

e porge una stella.

Senza dire nulla.

E in quel gesto silenzioso, c’è tutto:

la possibilità di esprimere un desiderio,

di ricominciare,

di credere ancora un po’.

Poi, con il cuore leggero, torna a guardare il cielo.

Perché sa che là sopra ci sono ancora tante stelle

pronte a cadere,

pronte a essere raccolte,

pronte a trovare la loro strada.

E forse, stanotte, il cercatore di stelle

ne raccoglierà una anche per te.

At night, when the world slows down and silence settles gently over the houses, he awakens.

No one knows exactly where he comes from. Perhaps from a forgotten dream, or from a softly whispered wish.

With his little basket between his paws, he slips out without a sound and sits down to wait

He looks up at the sky, his eyes filled with light.

He waits. He watches. He dreams.

Then, all of a sudden— a star falls.

He darts forward, quick yet gentle, and catches it mid-air, as if it were the most precious thing in the world.

And it is.

One by one, the stars fill his basket.

He arranges them with care, because he knows each one holds something special: a wish, a hope, a small dream that someone has released into the sky.

When the basket is full, he returns to his secret refuge.

There, he keeps the stars safe, waiting for the right moment.

Because he doesn’t keep them for himself.

He waits for someone.

Someone who truly needs one.

And when he finds them— a hesitant hand, a slightly saddened gaze, a heart searching for something— he approaches quietly and offers a star.

Without saying a word.

And in that silent gesture, there is everything: the chance to make a wish, to begin again, to believe just a little more.

Then, with a light heart, he returns to watching the sky.

Because he knows that up there, many more stars are ready to fall, ready to be gathered, ready to find their way.

And perhaps, tonight, the star seeker will gather one just for you. ✨

The Star Seeker” is a fully handmade piece created using the needle felting technique.

The small stars are hand-shaped in stucco and finished with gold leaf.

The wooden sphere, also hand-painted, is decorated with delicate little stars made using gilding adhesive (mixtion) and gold leaf.
